The dollar-yen chart looks calm, but a key line just gave way.
October 20. This is the dollar-yen on the one-hour chart, and a triple bottom confirmed yesterday.
A triple bottom is price holding three times at the same area. Here, price tested that floor three times, then closed above the resistance band at 158.335. That close above the band was clear confirmation.
From here, the measured target is 159.132, and the invalidation level is 157.502. A close beyond invalidation cancels the pattern.
The setup is still in play, and neither level has been hit yet.
