One huge green candle. Did you miss it?
Maybe not. Big candles often give a second chance.
This is a real dollar yen 4-hour chart. On September 17, this one candle jumped more than a yen.
Most people buy right at the top of a candle like this.
Here, that meant buying near 156.30. Then price slid to 155.33.
So rule one: don't chase the top of a big candle.
Rule two: mark its middle, halfway between its high and its low.
Here, halfway between 156.41 and 154.83.
Big candles often pull back toward the middle. This one dipped into that zone, and held.
Rule three: buy when it holds, with your stop below the big candle's low.
Same stop as the chaser, but about half the risk.
The next day, dollar yen traded up to 158.05.
Not every big candle pulls back. If it never comes back, skip it. No chase.
Save this. Big candle? Don't chase the top. Wait for a pullback toward the middle. Holds: buy, stop below the low.
Your turn. A big green candle just closed on this pound chart. Buy now, wait, or skip? Comment below.
