Broken support doesn't disappear. It flips
When support breaks, it doesn't vanish. It flips. And that flip gives you one of the cleanest entries.
- Support is broken only on a close below it.
- Keep the line: old support often turns into resistance.
- Wait for the retest from below. If it fails there, sell with a stop above the retest high.
- If price closes back above the line, the flip failed. Stay out.

When support breaks, it doesn't vanish.
It flips. And that flip gives you one of the cleanest entries.
Look at this silver chart. Support at 58.88. Buyers defended it three times.
Then this candle closed below it, at 58.65. Support is broken.
Most traders forget the level now. Don't. Keep the line on your chart.
Old support often turns into resistance. Buyers who got trapped there want out at the same price.
So wait for price to come back up to the line, from below.
Here it is. Silver popped back above the line, to 59.05, but closed below it.
Then it tried again at 58.89, and stalled. That line is resistance now.
That's the entry. Sell the failed retest, with your stop above the retest high.
And if price closes back above the line? The flip failed. Stay out.
Here, the line held as resistance, and silver dropped to 55.47.
Save this. A close below breaks support. Wait for the retest from below. Fails there: sell, stop above. Closes back above: stay out.
Your turn. This euro chart is back at old support, from below. Buy, sell, or wait? Comment below.
